The Baltic 14U baseball team dropped a road game at Madison Black 14U on Wednesday, June 14th. Madison won the game in five innings by a score of 18-3.
Madison built a big lead early. They scored two runs in the top of the first, two more in the second, and then nine in the top of the third to lead 13-0. Elias Oakley put Baltic on the board with an RBI single in the bottom of the third. Gavin Skotvold added an RBI single, and Ben Berg scored on an error making the score 13-3. Madison added five more runs in the top of the fourth.
Oakley finished with two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Skotvold had a single and an RBI. Cale Roach finished with two hits. Berg and Brody Hansen each had a hit. Skotvold pitched two innings allowing 10 runs, six earned, on three hits and eight walks with a strikeout. Hansen pitched three innings and allowed seven runs, five earned, on seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts.
