The Madison Gold 14U team had a big third inning to help them to a 17-5 win over the Baltic 14U team in Baltic on Monday, June 29th.
Madison scored two runs in the top of the first for a 2-0 lead. They then had an 11-run top of the third for a 13-0 lead. Baltic scored three times in the bottom of the third. Madison got another run in the top of the fourth. Baltic plated two more runs in the bottom of the fourth to make the score 14-5. Madison scored three more times in the top of the fifth, and the game ended on the 10-run rule after the bottom of the fifth inning.
Maddex Klein finished with two doubles and three RBIs. Laken Kortemeyer had a hit and an RBI. Hayden Sundermann added a single, and Austin Temple finished with an RBI.
