The Baltic 14U baseball team traveled to Elkton on Tuesday, June 16th. Elkton scored the final seven runs in a 10-4 win.
Elkton did score first getting three runs in the bottom of the first inning. Odin Hanisch had an RBI single in the top of the second to cut the lead to 3-1. Brody Hansen had an RBI single in the top of the third. Will Oakley had an RBI ground out to tie the game 3-3. Everett Bemboom gave Baltic the lead with an RBI ground out for a 4-3 advantage. Elkton got those three runs back in the bottom of the third to regain the lead 6-4. They added four more runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Maddex Klein finished with two hits, one a double. Hansen, Hanisch, and Bemboom all finished with a single and an RBI each. Oakley added an RBI. Bemboom pitched three innings and allowed six runs, two earned, on four hits and two walks with a strikeout. Oakley pitched three innings and allowed four runs, two earned, on a hit and three walks with five strikeouts.
