The Alcester-Hudson Cubs (3-10) were defeated by the Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinals 75-38 on Friday, January 27th.
After the first quarter of play, the Cardinals led 19-13. The Cubs were within four points, 22-18, with 7:00 to play in the second quarter. St Mary then ended the first half on an 18-6 run for a 40-24 halftime lead. St Mary then outscored the Cubs 23-6.
Dominic Van Egdom had 12 points and seven rebounds. Jose Topete-Lopez finished with 10 points. William Hallaway added five points. Evan Brown had four points, Caden Winquist had three points, and Ethan Bovill finished with two points.
