First Quarter Sets Tone for Tornado Win over Alcester-Hudson Boys

A big first quarter set the tone for the Centerville Tornadoes as they defeated the Alcester-Hudson Cub boys 82-61 on Tuesday, February 4th.

Centerville put 27 points on the board in the opening quarter and built a 27-10 lead by the end of the quarter.  The scoring difference was closer in the second quarter, but the Cubs still trailed 48-29 at halftime.  Each team would put 16 points on the board in the third quarter giving the Tornadoes a 64-45 lead going into the final quarter.  Centerville finished out the final quarter by outscoring the Cubs 18-16.

Three players finished in double figures for the Cubs on the night.  Ethan Bovill had a team-high 17 points.  Jose Topete-Lopez had 14 points.  Evan Haak ended the game with 13 points.
