Alcester-Hudson Boys Roll Past Pirates

The Alcester-Hudson Cubs boys team rolled past the Avon Pirates in an away game on Tuesday, January 7th.  The Cubs took a double-digit lead into halftime on their way to a 65-34 win.

The offense for the Cubs was working well from the very start.  Alcseter-Hudson built an 18-11 lead by the end of the first quarter.  They were able to double up the Pirates by halftime 36-18.  The lead hit 30 points with 4:00 to play in the third quarter, 50-20.  The Cubs ended the third quarter leading 56-24.

Ethan Bovill had 21 points, three steals, two rebounds, and two assists.  Jose Topete-Lopez added 10 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.  Evan Brown had 11 points and three assists.  Evan Haak ended with eight points.  Jacob Cole had six points, three rebounds, and three blocked shots.
