The Alcester-Hudson Cub girls traveled to Canton for an afternoon matinee game against the C-Hawks on Tuesday, December 31st. The C-Hawks grabbed the lead in the opening quarter and took the win 59-27.
The first quarter ended with Canton leading 17-4. Their lead extended to 30-10 by halftime. The Cubs hung with Canton scoring wise in the third quarter. The C-Hawks only outscored Alcester-Hudson 15-12 in the third quarter for a 45-22 lead going into the fourth.
Emma Solberg finished with 11 points and seven rebounds. Emily Winquist had eight points and two rebounds. Delta Pies added five points and four rebounds.
