Cub Girls Suffer Loss at Home to Colman-Egan

The Alcester-Hudson Cub girls suffered a home loss to the Colman-Egan Hawks on Monday, December 30th.  The hot-shooting Hawks got rolling in the first quarter and never cooled off in a 70-17 victory.

Colman-Egan built a 19-8 lead by the end of the first quarter.  Six of the eight points in the quarter for the Cubs came from the free-throw line.  Alcester-Hudson was held scoreless in the second quarter, and the Hawks led 42-8 at halftime.  Colman-Egan would outscore the Cubs 17-7 in the third quarter and 11-2 in the final quarter.

Emma Solberg finished with seven points, two rebounds, and two steals.  Emily Winquist also had seven points and two rebounds.  Ayonna Schissel added two points.  Emma Moller had one point.  Delta Pies pulled down five rebounds in the game.
