Strong Fourth Quarter Lifts Cubs Boys to Victory

The Alcester-Hudson Cubs boys basketball team used a strong fourth quarter to help them to a 50-38 win over the Parker Pheasants on Saturday, December 21st.

The Cubs held a 13-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.  They were able to extend their lead to 24-15 by halftime.  Parker was able to cut the lead to 32-27 by the end of the third quarter.  Alcester-Hudson then extended their lead throughout the fourth quarter, and they outscored Parker 18-11 for the win.

Evan Haak had 14 points and four rebounds.  Tommy Walth had nine points.  Izzac Sommervold added eight points and five rebounds.  Ethan Bovill had five points.  Evan Brown finished with four points and five rebounds.  Jacob Cole also had four points.
