The Alcester-Hudson Cub girls basketball team traveled to Freeman for a matchup with the Flyers on Thursday, February 1st. The Flyers took control of the game in the third quarter for a 65-45 win.
Freeman led by six points, 17-11, at the end of the first quarter. The Cubs were within for points, 28-24, at halftime. Freeman had a big third quarter and outscored Alcester-Hudson 22-10 to take a 50-34 lead into the fourth quarter. The Flyers held their lead throughout the fourth quarter.
Elly Doering had 27 points and 16 rebounds. Jenna Manning had five points. Sarah Ebert finished with four points and five rebounds. Delta PIes also had four points with two rebounds.
