Cub Girls Suffer Road Loss to Beresford

The Alcester-Hudson Cub girls suffered a road loss at the Beresford Watchdogs on Saturday, February 3rd.  The Watchdogs took the win 63-32.

The Cubs trailed by nine points after the first quarter, 19-10.  Beresford then held Alcester-Hudson to just one point in the second quarter while building a 35-11 halftime lead.  The Watchdogs continued rolling in the second half and outscored the Cubs 16-8 in the third quarter for a 51-19 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Elly Doering had 13 points and eight rebounds.  Emily Winquist added four points, four rebounds, and two assists.  Sarah Ebert finished with two points and three rebounds, while Emma Solberg had two points and two rebounds.
