The Alcester-Hudson Cub girls hosted one of the top teams in Class B girls basketball on Tuesday, January 30th. The #2 ranked Centerville Tornadoes defeated the Cubs 73-25.
Centerville built a 19-5 lead by the end of the first quarter and continued to roll from there. They extended the lead to 36-14 at halftime. The Tornadoes would outscore the Cubs 37-11 in the second half.
Elly Doering had 11 points and seven rebounds. Sarah Ebert finished with eight points and three rebounds. Jenna Manning added six points, three rebounds, and three assists. Emily Winquist had two points.
