The Alcester-Hudson Cub girls cruised to a big win over the Scotland Highlanders on Tuesday, January 23rd. The Cubs took the win by a score of 52-19.
Alcester-Hudson built a big first quarter lead of 14-3. They increased that lead to 30-10 by halftime. The offense continued to play well in the second half. The Cubs outscored Scotland 13-6 in the third quarter and 9-3 in the fourth quarter with the running clock.
Alexis Gray had 17 points and two assists. Emily Winquist added 11 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Emma Solberg had nine points, three rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Elly Deoring finished with five points and seven rebounds. Delta Pies had four points and five rebounds.
