The 2022 Alcester-Hudson Cub volleyball team will return three seniors to this year’s team. The Cubs finished 8-20 last season with a first-round regional playoff win. The Cubs lost three seniors from last year’s team, but returns several players who played last year.
First year head coach Tim Rhead said, “We will be looking for leadership from those three (seniors) to help our younger players have success in their roles. We are going to focus on the aspect of team and working together to have an improved season. I’m looking for this year’s team to be competitive in our region. This will be determined by their ability to stay healthy and work as a team.”
The Cubs travel to Menno for their first match of the 2022 season on Tuesday, August 23rd.
