The Alcester-Hudson Cubs track team traveled to Freeman for the Flyer Invitational on Thursday, April 18th. The boys team finished ninth with 35 points. The girls team placed 10th with 28 points.
Emma Solberg placed fourth in the 200m dash. Emily Winquist took fifth in the long jump. Ayonna Schissel finished fifth in the triple jump. Connie Hathcoat was eighth in the discus. The 4x100m relay team of Schissel, Winquist, Skya Almlie, and Solberg finished fourth. The 4x200m relay team of Schissel, Winquist, Solberg, and Carley Patrick also placed fourth. The 4x400m relay team of Winquist, Schissel, Almlie, and Solberg took seventh.
Mateo Kleinhans finished second in the 300m hurdles, third in the 110m hurdles, and fourth in the triple jump. Jose Topete-Lopez was fifth in the shot put. Evan Brown took fifth in the 400m dash. Darin Dykstra was sixth in the 200m dash. Dominic Van Egdom placed seventh in the discus. The 4x100m relay team of Brown, Dykstra, Kleinhans, and Jackson Meyer finished sixth.
