The Alcester-Hudson Cub track teams participated in the Great Plains Conference Track Meet in Armour on Tuesday, April 23rd. The girls team finished sixth with 33 points. The boys team finished second with 82 point.
Emma Solberg finished third in the 200m dash and fourth in the 100m dash. Devin Hongslo was third in the shot put and eighth in the javelin. Ayonna Schissel had a third place finish in the triple jump and sixth place finish in the long jump. Carly Patrick took fifth in the triple jump. Emily Winquist placed sixth in the 400m dash and seventh in the long jump. Skya Almlie took seventh in the 100m dash. Connie Hathcoat placed seventh in the discus. The 4x100m relay team finished third, and the 4x200m relay team finished sixth.
Mateo Kleinhans won both the 110m hurdles and the 300m hurdles and finished second in the triple jump. Ethan Bovill won the 400m dash and finished fourth in the 200m dash. Jackson Meyer was third in the 110m hurdles and eighth in the triple jump. Dominic Van Egdom placed third in the discus and fifth in the javelin. Darin Dykstra took fifth in the 800m run. Owen Serck was fifth in the 1600m run. The 4x200m and 4x400m relay teams both placed second. The 4x100m relay team finished fourth. The 4x800m relay team was fifth. The 1600 sprint medley relay team took eighth.
