The Alcester-Hudson Cubs scored 16 runs in three innings and cruised past the Avon Pirates 16-1 on Monday, April 15th.
The Cubs belted 12 hits in their win. Alcester-Hudson had two big innings. They scored six times in the top of the first inning and then had a 10-run third inning. The Pirates scored their only run in the bottom of the first in the 15-run three-inning game.
Delta Pies had three hits, one a double, and an RBI. Jenna Manning had two hits, including a double, and four RBIs. Emma Moller added two hits, one a triple, and three RBIs. Paxtyn Moller finished with two singles and three RBIs. Jaeley Christensen had a hit and two RBIs. Emma Solberg and Laney Decker each tallied one single and an RBI. Sarah Ebert also had an RBI. E. Moller pitched three innings and allowed an unearned run on a hit with five strikeouts.
