The West Central Trojan volleyball team played well at the Clark/Willow Lake Tournament held in Clark on Saturday, September 12th. The Trojans finished 3-1 overall in their four matches on the day.
The day started with a match against the Deuel Cardinals. The Trojans cruised to a straight set win by scores of 25-10 and 25-13. The next match was against the Florence/Henry Falcons. Again West Central was able to take the match in straight sets by scores of 25-18 and 25-11. The Trojans then faced a familiar Dak-12 opponent in the Lennox Orioles. The Orioles would get the win over the Trojans by scores of 25-15 and 27-25. The tournament ended with a match against Aberdeen Christian. West Central needed three sets, but they got the win by scores of 24-26, 25-19, and 25-23.
