The West Central Trojan girls soccer team posted two more wins on back-to-back matches on Friday, August 28th and Saturday, August 29th. The Trojans hosted Belle Fourche on Friday and St Thomas More/Rapid City Christian on Saturday.
West Central had three goals in the first half in their win over the Belle Fourche Broncs. Baylee Poss scored just five minutes into the match. Breckyn Meyer had a goal with 12:11 to play in the opening half. Kaylie Schultz also had a goal with 9:40 remaining for a 3-0 score. The match ended with the Trojans winning 3-0.
The Trojans the hosted the 3-1 St Thomas More/Rapid City Christian Cavaliers on Saturday. Ashlynn Borns scored with 34:58 to play in the first half. While the Trojans had a few more scoring opportunities in the first half, the score remained 1-0 at halftime. Sydney Wagner made multiple saves in the second half to keep the Cavaliers off the board as the Trojans held for the 1-0 win.
