The West Central Trojan track teams took part in the Tri-Valley Last Chance Meet on Thursday, May 21st. The girls team placed fourth with 67.5 points. The boys team tied for second with a total of 89 points.
Sarah Johnson won the 3200m run with a time of 12:01.21. Vera Jesse took second in the long jump with a jump of 15’7″. Ellie Knight placed third in the javelin with a throw of 100’5″. The sprint medley relay team of Hadley Borgen, Ashlynn Borns, Morgan Haneke, and Brooklyn Sundermann placed second in 4:44.58. The 4x200m relay team of Avery Pressler, Baylee Poss, Maelee Krempges, and Jesse finished third in 1:48.93.
Peyton Tetzlaff took the top spot in the 800m run in a time of 2:05.22. Zach Nielsen was second in the 800m run in 2:06.48 and third in the high jump with jump of 6’0″. Ayden Henderson was second in the javelin with a throw of 104’2″. Dominic Butts finished third in the 110m hurdles in :15.05. Elijah Mundahl took third in the javelin at 136’9″.
