Both the West Central Trojan girls track and team boys track team had second place finishes at the Barker Relays in Madison on Friday, May 8th. The girls team had 90 points, and the boys team finished with 122 points.
Addison Jaspers won the 400m dash with a time of 1:03.16. Broklyn Sundermann was second in the 1600m run in 5:33.31. Vera Jesse placed third in the 100m dahs in a time of :13.16. Sarah Johnson finished third in the 1600m run in 5:35.08. The 4x100m relay team of Avery Pressler, Maelee Krempges, Morgan Haneke, and Jesse won in a time of :51.39. The sprint medley relay team of Hadley Borgen, Ashlynn Borns, Jaspers, and Lucy Rozeboom also won in a time of 4:35.64. The 4x200m relay team of Pressler, Haneke, Borgen, and Jesse finished third in 1:52.08.
Dominic Butts won the 300m hurdles in :42.41 and finished second in the 110m hurdles in :15.20. Peyton Tetzlaff won the 1600m run in 4:49.89. Zach Nielsen was second in the high jump at 5’10”. Kolte Garry took third in the shot put with a throw of 43’10”. The 4x100m relay team of Keenan Hacket, Chase Stromer, Peyton Barrick, and Elliot DeJong won in a time of :45.06. The 4x200m relay team of Stromer, Boche Knight, Barrick, and DeJong took first in 3:32.15. The sprint medley relay team of Stromer, Kinght, DeJong, and Brody Johnson also won in a time of 3:57.22. The 4x400m relay team of Stromer, Nielsen, Johnson, and Butts placed second in 3:32.15. The 4x800m relay team of Briar Horn, Johnson, Nielsen, and Tetzlaff took second in a time of 8:44.67.
