The West Central Trojan track teams traveled to Dell Rapids for the Dell Rapids Invite on Monday, May 11th. The boys team placed third with 77 points. The girls team placed fifth with 42 points.
Maddyx Ingalls won the 300m hurdles in a time of :50.09. MacKenzie Skonhovd placed third in the 400m dash with a time of 1:02.49 and placed third in the 800m run in 2:34.26. Aubrey Borns was fourth in the 400m dash in 1:03.72. Lucy Rozeboom took fourth in the 800m run with a time of 2:37.22. Ellie Knight was fourth in the 100m hurdles in :19.07.
Peyton Barrick won the 300m hurdles with a time of :41.96. Boche Knight took the top spot in the long jump with a leap of 19’10.5″. Brody Johnson placed second in the 400m dash in :52.57. Dominic Butts was second in 110m hurdles with a time of :15.54. Kolte Garry finished third in the shot put with a throw of 44’1.5″. Ayden Henderson was third in the javelin at 147’11”. The 4x800m relay team of Briar Horn, Brody Johns, Kyper Hilger, and Gavin DeHaven won with a time of 8:58.48.
