Girls Take First, Boys Second for Trojan Track Teams in Beresford

The West Central Trojan track teams both had a good day at the Beresford Lions Meet on Tuesday, May 5th.  The girls team won with a total of 164 points.  The boys team placed second with 178 points.

Avery Pressler won the 200m dash with a time of :27.27.  Sarah Johnson won the 800m run in 2:31.80.  Sadie Wuebben took the top spot in the 1600m run in 5:40.24.  Brooklyn Sundermann was first in the 3200m run in 11:47.73.  Vera Jesse took second in the 200m dash in :27.79.  MacKenzie Skonhovd was second in the 400m dash with a time of 1:03.88 and finished third in the 800m run in 2:38.05.  Addison Jaspers was third in the 400m dash in 1:04.01.  Aubrey Borns took third in the 1600m run with a time of 5:59.61.  Ellie Knight was third in the javelin with a throw of 88’11”.  The 4x200m relay team of Maddyx Ingalls, Addison Jaspers, Skonhovd, and Maelee Krempges won with a time of 1:54.00.  The 4x400m relay team of Pressler, Skonhovd, Krempges, and Jaspers also won in a time of 4:22.12.

Dominic Butts won the 400m dash in :51.66 and the 110m hurdles in :15.29.  Peyton Tetzlaff won the 1600m run wiht a time of 4:47.92 and won the 3200m run in 10:12.89.  Peyton Barrick won the 300m hurdles with a time of :42.56, placed third in the 110m hurdles in :19.45, and finished third in the long jump at 19’4.5″.  Zach Nielsen won the high jump with a leap of 6’0″.  Boche Knight took second in the long jump with a jump of 20’4″.  Brody Johnson was third in the 400m dash in :54.55.  Kolte Garry was third in the shot put with a throw of 43’10”.  The 4x200m relay team of Kevin Cholopray, Braylon Viergutz, Chase Stromer, and Max Poss won in 1:38.57.  The 4x400m relay team of Elliot DeJong, Nielsen, Poss, and Butts won in a time of 3:39.35.  The 4x100m relay team of Knight, Barrick, Stromer, and DeJong placed second in :45.87.  The 4x800m relay team of Kyper Hilger, Johnson, Gavin DeHaven, and Wuebben took third in 9:47.33.  The sprint medley relay team of Cholopray, Carson Eich, Poss, and Hilger was also third with a time of 4:11.45.
