The West Central Trojan girls soccer team recently played their final two regular season matches in the 2025 season. They hosted Groton Area on Saturday, September 27th and then hosted Mitchell on Thursday, October 2nd.
West Central would avenge an earlier-season loss to the Tigers on Saturday. Groton had defeated West Central 1-0 on September 6th in Groton. This time the Trojans took the win 1-0. West Central got a goal in the first half and then held for the 1-0 shutout win.
The Trojans then hosted the Kernals to end the regular season on Thursday. Mitchell scored four times while keeping West Central off the board for a 4-0 victory. With the loss to the Kernals, West Central finished the regular season with a 7-4-2 record.
Currently the Trojans are the fifth seed for the playoffs which will start on Tuesday, October 7th.
