West Central Boys Soccer 0-2-1 in Last Three Matches

The West Central Trojan boys soccer team played three matches in a span of a week.  They traveled to face Dakota Valley on Tuesday, September 2nd, traveled to Groton on Saturday, September 6th, and then hosted Freeman Academy on Monday, September 9th.

The Trojans and Dakota Valley battled to a 1-1 draw.  The Panthers scored a goal in the first half, but West Central was able to draw even with a goal in the second half for the 1-1 final score.

Groton was able to get a goal in each half to take a 2-1 win over the Trojans.  The Tigers scored a goal in the first half for a 1-0 lead.  Each team netted one in the second half.

In an offensive battle, Freeman Academy put five shots into the back of the next in the first half.  West Central only had one goal and trailed 5-1 at halftime.  Each team scored two times in the second half for a 7-3 final score.

The Trojans are currently 1-5-1 on the season.
