West Central Boys Fall Short Against Groton

The West Central Trojan boys lost their third game to start the season.  The Trojans hosted the Groton Tigers on Friday, December 15th and took the loss 71-54.

The first quarter was back-and-forth that ended with the Tigers holding a one-point lead, 17-16.  The Trojans had a 28-27 lead late in the second quarter, but Groton ended the first half ahead 35-31.  The Tigers gained a lot of momentum in the third quarter and outscored the Trojans 21-6 for a 56-37 lead.  That run was the big difference in the game.

Jake Kuhl had 10 points, eight rebounds, and two assists.  Brodie Herr had nine points and two assists.  Crew Heier finished with eight points, three rebounds, and two assists.
