Panthers End West Central Girls Soccer Winning Streak

The West Central Trojan girls soccer team had their winning streak and goal streak come to an end on Tuesday, September 8th.  The Trojans had won six straight matches and had not allowed a goal since their last loss to the Dakota Valley Panthers on August 18th.  The Panthers ended both of those streaks with a 2-1 win in Hartford.

Dakota Valley had quite a few shots on goal in the first half, but Sydney Wagner kept the Panthers off the board.  The half came to an end with a 0-0 tie.  Dakota Valley broke through with a goal at the 36:41 mark for a 1-0 lead.  They added to their lead with another goal at 18:01 to extend the lead to 2-0.  Morgan Haneke bounced the ball over the goal keeper for a goal with 1:50 to play, but the Trojans ran out of time.
