The West Central Trojan track teams made the short trip to Tea for the Tea Area Invite on Thursday, April 23rd. The girls team placed fifth overall with 45 points. The boys team took sixth with 50.33 points.
Addison Jaspers took fourth in the 400m dash with a time of 1:04.78. Ellie Knight was fourth in the 300m hurdles in :54.58. Abbi Thornton was fifth in the triple jump with a jump of 31’5.5″. Aylah Roberts was fifth in the 300m hurdles with a time of :56.63. The 4x200m relay team team of Avery Pressler, Vera Jesse, Hadley Borgen, and Baylee Poss won with a time of 1:51.96. The 4x800m relay team of Aubrey Borns, Lucy Rozeboom, Brooklyn Sundermann, and Sarah Johnson was third in 10:12.55. The sprint medley relay team of Maelee Krempges, Morgan Haneke, Addison Jaspers, and Rozeboom also finsihed third in 4:56.97. The 4x400m relay team of Pressler, Maddyx Ingalls, Kinslee Hruby, and Ellie Knight placed third in 4:41.73.
Ayden Henderson finished second in the javelin with a throw of 152’8″. Zach Nielsen took third in the 400m dash in :57.02 and placed third in the high jump at 6’0″. Peyton Tetzlaff was fourth in the high jump at 5’8″. The 4x400m relay team of Max Poss, Nielsen, Elliot DeJong, and Dominic Butts won in a time of 3:43.95. The sprint medley relay team of DeJong, Boche Knight, Butts, and Tetzlaff also won with a time of 4:00.90. The 4x200m relay team of Kevin Cholopray, Knight, Chase Stromer, and Butts was fourth in 1:37.86. The 4x100m relay team of Stromer, Peyton Barrick, Knight, and DeJong placed fifth in :45.59.
