The Hartford/Humboldt Wood Ducks traveled to Dell Rapids to face the Mudcats on Sunday, June 15th. The Mudcats held the Wood Ducks hitless in a 15-0 win in five innings. Dell Rapids scored four times in the bottom of the first, three in the second, and seven in the third for a 14-0 lead. They would end the game with one more run in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Derek Renken pitched 2 2/3 innings and allowed 10 earned runs on four hits and six walks with three strikeouts. Brayden Odegaard pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed one earned run on a hit and walk with two strikeouts. Jearl Jesson allowed four unearned runs.
