The West Central high school baseball team was blanked, 7-0, by Brandon Valley in Brandon on Monday, May 12th. Brandon Valley broke a 0-0 tie with a six-run bottom of third inning. They would add one more run in the bottom of the fifth inning.
West Central was held to just one hit in the game. Beckett Everson had the lone hit. Caden Alfson pitched two innings and allowed a hit and walk with two strikeouts. CJ DenBoer pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks with two strikeouts. Everson pitched 2/3 of an inning allowing six earned runs on four hits and four walks. Lando Whiting threw one inning walking one and striking out one.
