The West Central Trojan boys track team had a very successful year last year, placing third as a team at the state meet. Last year’s team was led by five seniors.
This year’s team returns a strong senior class. West Central will be led by Werner Fajadro, Cain Grocott, Patrick Hammond, Rylee Hartung, Kade Hruby, Evan Jaton, Luke Knight, Jonathan Roth, and Liam Schmeichel. They will be joined by many young underclassmen who are going to help the team this year.
“Our goal as a team is to score well at the state meet meet,” said head coach Brian Voss. “I am very excited to see what these athletes can do. They have been working hard in the early season getting ready.”
