Trojan Girls Use Second Quarter Run for Road Win in Flandreau

The West Central Trojan girls used a big second quarter run to help them to a 58-48 road win against the Flandreau Fliers on Thursday, February 20th.

The Fliers built a 14-10 by the end of the first quarter.  West Central knocked down the three-point shots in the second quarter, and the Trojans outscored Flandreau 20-2 to take a 30-16 lead into halftime.  West Central was able to increase the lead to 50-30 by the end of the third quarter.  The Fliers made a run in the fourth quarter, but the Trojans had built a big enough lead to take the win.

Kacey Jaton finished with 14 points, three assists, two rebounds, and two steals.  Ayla Kramer added 12 points, six rebounds, and three assists.  Rayna Goehring ended with 11 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Abbi Thornton had eight points and nine rebounds.
