The West Central Trojan girls basketball team had their regular season finale at home on Friday, February 21st against Chamberlain. The Trojans rolled to a big 74-24 win over the Cubs to finish 12-8 overall.
West Central started the game on a 12-0 run and kept rolling from there. The Trojans finished the first quarter with an 18-2 lead. They extended their lead to 44-10 by halftime. The Trojan offense kept rolling in the third quarter as well. West Central led 63-18 going into the final quarter.
Eleven different players scored in the game for the Trojans, three of them finishing in double figures. Ellie Knight had 19 points. Rayna Goehring and Kacey Jaton both had 10 points each. Bailey Stallman and Abbi Thornton each finished with seven points.
