The West Central Trojans earned a big win over unbeaten and #3 ranked Dakota Valley at home on Tuesday, January 14th. The Trojans turned a slim lead into a 69-49 victory.
West Central held just a three-point lead, 14-11, after the first quarter. They had a great second quarter, and the Trojans extended their lead to 31-23 going into halftime. The offense kept rolling for the Trojans in the third quarter. They outscored the Panthers 24-15 to push the lead to 55-38 heading into the fourth quarter.
Connor Mebius finished with 19 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Will Kuhl also had 19 points with six rebounds. Kolte Garry added 11 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Carter Gross had seven points, and Elliot DeJong had five rebounds and three blocked shots.
