Less than 24 hours after a tough battle with the #1 team in Class A, the West Central Trojan girls bounced back with a win over the Milbank Bulldogs at the Sacred Hoops Classic in Mitchell on Saturday, January 4th.
The Trojans shot 41% (22-54) as a team overall, 19% (4-21) from three-point area, and made their only free throw attempt.
Three players finished in double figures. Ellie Knight led the way with 14 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Rayna Goehring added 13 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Abbi Thornton had 10 points and eight rebounds.
