The West Central Trojan boys earned two more wins and remained undefeated after games on back-to-back days. The Trojans traveled to Groton on Friday, December 20th. The Trojans took a 54-38 win over the Tigers to improve to 3-0.
In less than 24 hours, the Trojans were in Vermillion on Saturday, December 21st for the Vermillon Boosters Holiday Classic against Crofton, NE. A big second half by West Central put the game out of reach. The Trojans led 13-5 after the first quarter and 26-11 at halftime. The big blow delivered by the Trojans came in the third quarter. West Central outscored Crofton 23-8 for a 49-19 lead going into the fourth quarter. The Trojans took the win 59-24.
Carter Tetzlaff had 23 points. Will Kuhl added 10 points and four rebounds. Connor Mebuis finished with seven points, three rebounds, and four assists. Boche Knight had five points. Elliot DeJong ended with four points and eight rebounds.
