West Central Suffers Home Loss to Baltic

The West Central Trojan volleyball hosted the Baltic Bulldogs on Tuesday, September 17th.  The Bulldogs won in straight sets by scores of 25-9, 25-17, and 25-16.

Baltic started the match with a 5-2 run and then followed that with a 5-0 run for a 10-2 lead.  The lead grew to 16-4 then 22-9.  The Bulldogs scored the final three points for the 25-10 win.  The second set started with a 5-5 tie.  West Central took a 7-6 lead, but Batic responded with a 4-0 run for a 10-7 lead.  They extended that lead to 20-13.  The Trojans cut the lead to 21-15, but Baltic won the set 25-17.  Baltic built an early 3-0 lead and continued to hold an 8-6 advantage.  West Central cut the lead to 9-8, but that was as close as they could get.  The Bulldogs slowly extended the lead to 22-15 before winning 25-16.

Cambree Ideker had 13 digs, six set assists, and two kills.  Maddi Ingalls finished with four kills, seven digs, and three set assists.  Dawson Garry had two kills, four blocks, and an ace serve.  Avery Nothdurft had eight digs, and Landry Heath finished with four digs.
