The West Central Trojan softball team ran their record to a perfect 17-0 on the season after a 12-0 win over the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers on Friday, May 10th.
A nine-run inning in the top of the first inning put the Trojans on cruise control the rest of the game. The Trojans got a single run in the top of the third and two more in the top of the fourth before the game ended on the 10-run rule in five innings. Elisabeth Miller dominated from the pitching circle throwing five innings and allowing just one hit and two walks while striking out 10 batters.
Izzi Parsons had three hits, two of them doubles, and an RBI. Miller had two singles and two RBIs. Caitlyn Hoff added a double and three RBIs. Addy Kunzweiler finished with a home run and two RBIs. Ayla Kramer, Emillee Stofferahn, and Kadence Lupkes all had a single and RBI each.
