The West Central Trojan track teams took part in the Dakota Valley Invite on Tuesday, April 23rd.
Maelee Krempges finished seventh in the 400m dash. Aubrey Borns took seventh in the 800m run. Drew Caffrey placed seventh in the 1600m run. Molly Anderson was eighth in the long jump. The 4x200m relay team of Rayna Goehring, Anderson, Sadie Berg, and Baylee Poss took first place. The 4x100m relay team placed second. The 1600 sprint medley relay team finished fourth. The 4x400m and 4x800m relay teams both took fifth.
Liam Schmeichel won the 110m hurdles, finished second in the 300m hurdles, and third in the high jump. Crew Heier was second in the javelin and third in the shot put. Zach Nielsen took fifth in the high jump. Benjamin Strunk was sixth in the 1600m run. Evan Jaton was eighth in the 800m run. The 1600 sprint medley team of Elliot DeJong, Patrick Hammond, Jude Jarding, and Struck took first place. The 4x200m relay team of Ben Vuong, Hammond, DeJong, and Jarding also finished first. The 4x100m relay team finished sixth, and the 4x800m relay team placed seventh.
