“As another season emerges, so does the excitement for another track and field year. The West Central boys track and field team is gearing up for a season filled with dedication, commitment, and hopefully success during this season,” said boys head coach Brian Voss.
The 2024 boys track team will be led by seniors Gabe Gebhard, Crew Heier, Jude Jarding, Layton Johnson, Ben Strunk, and Ben Vuong. They will be joined by a strong underclassmen roster.
“As a team we have set ambitious targets for both individual and team goals. On the track our sprinters are working hard on their technique and speed. Our middle distance runners are putting in miles. Our field events are refining their skills and perfecting their craft. All of our athletes are dedicated to reaching new heights and pushing the boundaries of their abilities,” added Voss.
The Trojans are scheduled to have their first outdoor meet on Monday, April 8th.
