The Trojan track team ran in the Dakota Wesleyan University High School Open in Mitchell on Thursday, March 28th.
Baylee Poss took second in the 200m dash and sixth in the 60m dash. Drew Caffrey took third in the 3000m run. Aubrey Borns finished fifth in the 3000m run. Bailey Stallman had a seventh place finish in the 800m run. Holly Berg took ninth in the triple jump. The 4x800m relay team of Ellie McDonald, Hadley Larson, Jazelle Jarding, Aubrey Borns finished second.
Jude Jarding won the 200m dash and finished second in the 400m run. Benjamin Strunk won the one-mile run and took second in the 800m run. Jonathan Roth won the 3000m run and finished fourth in the one-mile run. Ben Vuong took second in the long jump. Crew Heier was second in the shot put. Liam Schmeichel was fourth in the 60m hurdles. Patrick Hammond had a fourth-place finish in the 400m run. Elliot DeJong took fifth in the 200m dash and 400m run and placed seventh in the long jump. The boys 4x800m relay team of Evan Jaton, Luke Knight, Peyton Tetzlaff, and Gab Gebhard finished third. The 4x400m relay team of Rylee Hartung, Brody Johnson, Zach Nielsen, and Hammond finished fifth.
