The West Central Trojan girls had their five-game winning streak stopped at home by the St Thomas More Cavaliers on Thursday, February 8th. The Cavaliers shut down the Trojans in a 42-25 win.
The Cavaliers led by just two points by the end of the first quarter, 9-7. West Central was held to just three points in the second quarter, and St Thomas More extended their lead to 18-10 by halftime. The Cavaliers continued to build on their lead in the third quarter and held 31-16 going into the final quarter.
Jazelle Jarding had nine points and seven rebounds. Emillee Stofferahn had seven points and three rebounds. Alexa Borns finished with four points and three rebounds.
