The West Central Trojan girls team hosted the McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars on Tuesday, February 6th. The Trojans won their fifth straight game, this time by a score of 60-35.
The defensive pressure was relentless throughout the entire game. West Central had a total of 17 steals in the game that led to many fast-break opportunities on the offensive end.
Molly Anderson had 17 points and three steals. Kacey Jaton added 15 points and five rebounds. Mara Schultz had nine points, five rebounds, and four steals. Jazelle Jarding ended with eight points, six steals, and three assists.
