The West Central Trojan boys rolled past the Webster Bearcats at the Dak-12/NEC Clash in Madison on Saturday, January 27th. The Trojans took the win 72-38.
The Trojan defense held the Bearcats to just five points in the first quarter which helped West Central to a 14-5 lead at quarter’s end. West Central then outscored Webster 24-8 in the second quarter for a 38-13 halftime lead. Both offenses played well in the third quarter, but the Trojans still outscored the Bearcats 24-18 to increase their lead to 62-31 going into the final quarter.
Connor Mebius finished with 14 points in the game. Will Kuhl added 11 points. Carter Tetzlaff had eight points, and Crew Heier had seven points in the game.
