Trojan Girls Fall Short at Dakota Valley

The West Central Trojan girls basketball team fell short against the Dakota Valley Panthers on Monday, January 15th.  The Panthers held for a 64-57 win.

The two teams played to a 16-16 after the first quarter of play.  Dakota Valley took a small four-point lead, 31-27, into the locker room at halftime.  The Panthers would outscore the Trojans by seven points in the third quarter and led 50-39 going into the fourth quarter.  West Central did outscore the Panthers 18-14 in the final quarter, but the Panthers held for the win.

Alexa Borns finished with 15 points and five rebounds.  Jazelle Jarding added 13 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.  Abbi Thornton had 10 points and four rebounds.  Molly Anderson ended with 10 points, two rebounds, and two assists.  Emillee Stofferahn had six points and two rebounds.
