The West Central Trojan boys soccer team went 0-3 in their last three matches played. They hosted the Vermillion Tanagers on Thursday, September 14th and then hosted Freeman Academy on Monday, September 18th. The team traveled to Huron to play James Valley Christian on Tuesday, September 19th.
Vermillion took a 5-0 win over the Trojans. The Tanagers scored four times in the first half and then added another goal in the second half in the victory. In a make-up match with the Bobcats on Monday, Freeman Academy scored six times in the first half for a 6-0 lead. They added two more goals in the second half while West Central got one for an 8-1 final score. The Vikings of James Valley Christian earned a 3-1 win over the Trojans on Tuesday.
West Central is 0-9-1 on the season and will travel to Yankton on Thursday, September 21st and then will have a road match against Southwest Minnesota Christian on Monday, September 25th.
