The West Central Trojan boys golf team had a successful 2022 season. They finished fifth as a team at state and had two medal winners. This year’s team will look to build on that success in 2023.
Junior Kaden Zomer placed 18th at state last year and returns for another year. Junior Anthony Lanham and freshman Connor Mebius also return with state tournament experience. Seventh grader Aiden Lanham will start in the fourth varsity spot with junior Easton Eberhard, sophomore Adam Johnson, and freshmen Gunnar Alfson and Dylan Bettcher all competing for varsity time.
“We feel if we play to our potential, we should be able to compete with the best in the state,” said head coach Jacob Sittig.
