The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies ended a four-game winning streak of the West Central Trojans (10-10) on Monday, February 20th. The Trojans dropped their final regular season game at home 65-45.
Elk Point-Jefferson got out to a quick 18-7 lead by the end of the first quarter and didn’t trail in the game. The Huskies held a 38-25 lead at halftime and then outscored the Trojans 15-9 in the third quarter. Elk Point-Jefferson led 53-34 going into the fourth quarter.
Crew Heier finished with 12 points and four rebounds. Erik Seten had 11 points. Carter Schmeichel added seven points and three rebounds. Brodie Herr had five points and four rebounds.
