Trojan Boys Rally in Fourth Quarter in Win over Canton

It took three quarters for the West Central Trojan (8-9) offense to get rolling, but they were able to find their groove in the fourth quarter to get a 46-35 come-from-behind win over the Canton C-Hawks on Tuesday, February 14th.

Neither team could get their offense really going throughout most of the game.  Canton held a 12-11 lead at the end of the first quarter.  Both teams scored nine points each in the second quarter, and the C-Hawks continued to lead by one, 21-20, at halftime.  West Central’s offense was held to just four points in the third quarter, and Canton extended their lead to 30-24 going into the fourth quarter.  The Trojans, however, found the offensive magic during the quarter timeout.  They outscored Canton 22-5 in the final quarter for the win.

Erik Seten finished with 17 points and two rebounds.  Crew Heier added eight points, three rebounds, and two steals.  Carter Schmeichel had six points, three rebounds, and five assists.  Dylan Stromer also had six points with three rebounds.  Carter Tetzlaff had three points and three rebounds.
