The Tea Area Titans snapped a three-game winning streak by the West Central Trojans (6-8) on Thursday, February 2nd. Tea Area defeated West Central 59-49 in Hartford.
The Titans led from start to finish in the game. They ended the first quarter leading 13-9. The lead grew to 30-21 at halftime and 48-36 by the end of the third quarter. West Central finished the game shooting 36% (16-44) overall, 28% (5-18) on three-point attempts, and 92% (12-13) from the free-throw line. The Titans shot 49% (24-49) overall, 23% (3-13) on three-point shots, and 67% (8-12) from the free-throw line.
Carter Schmeichel had nine points, two rebounds, and three assists. Trevin Price had seven points and two rebounds. Conner Eich also had seven points. Owen Heath and Dylan Stromer finished with six points each. Brodie Herr added five points.
